We've always had a love for wine. The culture, the art, the connotation of a beautiful glass of wine. Wine is not for plastic cups, it’s not for chugging a can of it, Wine is for the jazz club. Wine is for the big family gathering, wine is for playing cards at the beach house with friends. Wine is for those intimate dinners, wine is for the special occasion.

Years ago when I decided to stop drinking I noticed a lot of benefits. However, the only drink I missed was beautiful red wine. Shouldn't "Treating Yourself" to a nice drink be at least sometimes make you healthier?  There just wasn't an option that was non-alcoholic that was remotely fitting that "wine" taste and feeling. There are non-alcoholic beers, but they’re not wine, and they don’t have the vitalizing health benefits either.

There had to be a way to make an offering with 100% REAL WINE. Real fermented grapes without any fillers, no "Natural Flavors", no grape juice added, not an "Alternative", I wanted the real thing without the compromises. We wanted to add subtle adaptogens to make it functional to enjoy a subtle mood lift without wooziness, just relaxing clarity.

We set out scouring the United States for ways to source the best wine, remove the alcohol while keeping the taste.  We wanted wine that's good for you. A healthy choice you can cherish for those special occasions whether you even drink alcohol or not.  

After over nine months with a team of experts, searching, tasting, refining, starting from scratch, and refining again, we arrived. VERO [Vair-oh] came to us as it means real or authentic in Italian. 

While also sounding similar to Vino (wine in Spanish) and using "V" as in Vines or Vineyards.

Vero was created.
